The Woodkirk Yorkstone Quarry in Morley, Leeds sits within a rich deposit of Yorkshire stone reserves where this high quality material has been quarried since 1800’s. The 40 acre quarry site is owned by Pullans, located adjacent to the popular Howley Park Estate and it has been estimated to have more than 20 years stone reserves remaining.
In 2017 we partnered with the experienced team of Calder Masonry headed by Ian and Nicola Howgate to re-establish their business based at the quarry to invest in and expand the development of craftsman and volume products supplies across the UK.
Woodkirk Yorkshire buff sandstone is a high-quality and extremely versatile material that is used in all types of applications; from large-scale public realm projects programmed over a number of years to individual properties, bespoke fireplaces and other stone features.
