We first worked with MKM in 2007. A Hull based builders’ merchant on an expansion programme seeking to grow their number of depots nationally. The credit crunch was severely restricting the availability of development finance, and thus disrupting MKM’s ambitious plans.

A creative forward funding pre-let model was agreed and our first MKM depot was built in Selby, North Yorkshire in 2008 taking the number of their operational depots to 20.

Our partnership with them has since grown and we now have 5 MKM depots located in Selby, Kings Lynn, Macclesfield, Yeovil and the most recent, on our own patch, in Leeds, which opened in September 2019. This takes the number of depots they have nationally to over 70 as they continue to go from strength to strength.
